EMT to Showcase Future-Ready Gas and Transformer Technologies at Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo 2026.
As the industry moves towards lower-carbon insulating-gas alternatives, EMT is helping utilities manage both today’s installed asset base and the gases and maintenance requirements of tomorrow.
Visit EMT at Stand 11015.

Energy Maintenance Technologies (EMT), a global leader in insulating gas management and transformer condition assessment, will exhibit at Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo 2026, taking place from 17–19 November at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

Under its guiding principle, Founded on Science. Driven by Innovation, EMT will demonstrate technologies designed to help transmission and distribution operators improve asset reliability, increase operational efficiency and prepare for the evolving requirements of the power industry.

Visitors will be able to discover EMT’s latest solutions for the analysis, handling and management of SF₆ and alternative insulating gases, together with technology supporting faster and more accessible transformer condition assessment.

Among the technologies being showcased will be the new EMT Transformer Total Combustible Gas Tester - a portable solution designed to provide fast, simple and reliable measurement of total combustible gas in transformer oil. The instrument enables maintenance teams to carry out rapid on-site screening, supporting informed decisions and helping identify when further laboratory analysis or investigation may be required.

EMT will also present solutions from its advanced insulating-gas portfolio, including:

  • Zerowaste Rapide Eco+, the world’s first portable 4-in-1 analyser for SF₆, C4-FN, Natural Origin Gases and Dry Air
  • Gas-Dry, a non-invasive system that removes moisture from gas-insulated equipment without requiring an outage or the use of a gas cart
  • Technologies for gas analysis, leak detection, filling, recovery and in-field verification
  • Technical training, equipment support and specialist site services delivered by EMT’s experienced global team

As the industry moves towards lower-carbon insulating-gas alternatives, EMT is helping utilities manage both today’s installed asset base and the gases and maintenance requirements of tomorrow. Its combination of equipment, technical expertise, training and field support provides customers with an integrated approach throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo brings together the people and technologies shaping the future of global electricity networks. EMT looks forward to demonstrating how science-led innovation can help utilities improve reliability, reduce operational demands and confidently manage the transition to alternative insulating gases.

Visitors are invited to meet the EMT team at Stand 11015 to explore the technologies, discuss current asset-management challenges and discover practical solutions for safer, more efficient and future-ready network maintenance.
