Electrical Safety Audit

MR POWER SYSTEMS Stand: 4007
Electrical Safety Audit is a comprehensive assessment designed to identify electrical safety violations, non-compliance and areas requiring improvement.

At MR Power Systems, the audit combines a review of existing documentation, an online meeting, a site visit and a summary findings report. The goal is to understand the current electrical safety status and provide a practical basis for further improvements.

The audit may include:

  • Review of existing electrical documentation
  • Verification of required local and corporate documentation
  • Electrical Safety Plan review
  • Electrical drawings and diagrams review
  • Visual inspection of the electrical system
  • Verification of up-to-date electrical diagrams
  • Identification of installation problems
  • Review of electrical safety administration
  • Training and competency review
  • PPE review
  • Identification of other electrical safety gaps

The outcome helps organisations to:

  • identify immediate electrical safety issues
  • establish priorities for corrective actions
  • plan long-term improvements and budgets
  • avoid unnecessary or incorrectly prioritised investments
  • create a structured recommendations list
  • determine whether an Arc Flash Risk Assessment is required
  • determine whether additional Power System Studies are needed

An Electrical Safety Audit is especially useful when there is uncertainty about the current condition of the electrical safety system — for example, whether documentation is complete, electrical diagrams are up to date, protection settings are properly documented, maintenance records are available, or employees understand the electrical hazards they may encounter.
