H&S is a technology, engineering and system integration partner for digital substations, power transmission and distribution systems, and modern secondary technology.

We support utilities, grid operators and equipment manufacturers throughout the lifecycle of substation automation projects – from engineering, production and system integration to testing, commissioning and training.

A key focus is IEC 61850. Our solutions enable manufacturer-independent SCL engineering and validation for complex protection, control and automation systems. We support manual and fully automated testing using IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104, with additional protocols integrated as required. Combined with our IPS-20 process simulator, our solutions enable closed-loop testing from simulated process signals through the hardware interface and back, providing comprehensive validation of the automation chain.

As a system integrator, H&S plans, designs, builds and commissions complete secondary systems for high- and extra-high-voltage substations. Our expertise covers protection, control and substation automation, combining practical project experience with in-depth knowledge of international standards and digital technologies.
