Tap Position Indicator (TPI) with 4-20 mA output is a device used in power transformers to provide both local indication and remote transmission of the tap position. It displays the current tap position on a digital display and simultaneously converts the position into a proportional 4-20 mA analog signal for integration with remote monitoring and control systems such as SCADA, PLCs, or control panels.
