Chris Gerber

Chris Gerber is a transformer industry professional. He served the industry in various capacities and worked for and with some of the leading power utilities, transformer and transformer component manufacturers in Africa, Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East. He is a former transformer OEM CEO and Board Member, a former diplomat, academic lecturer and author of several published articles on matters related to the energy industry. He currently holds the position of Senior Partner at the GenCon Management Consulting, a Belgium based management consulting and advisory firm, specializing in bespoke managerial and technical consulting assignments for selected clients in the power systems and related sectors. He leads the mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property transfer and generic growth strategy departments within GenCon. He is a Cigré member. Chris currently serves on various transformer industry related company boards as a Non - Executive Board Advisor and Member.
