Ruben Grund

Ruben Grund is founder and Managing Director of Grund-Tech GmbH, an independent high-voltage engineering consultancy supporting manufacturers and utilities on product development, technical assessment and large-scale T&D projects. His technical focus is the interface — where a cable connects to a GIS or transformer, cable-to-cable joints, and transformer connections — with particular emphasis on IEC type-testing and manufacturing qualification. He has contributed to IEC and IEEE standardisation committee work and has held several senior engineering leadership roles in the electrical industry, and today advises greenfield HV manufacturing programmes in Europe, India and Mexico. He holds a Dipl.-Ing. (MEng) in Electrical Engineering from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and an MBA.
