Last year, we introduced our high-tensile steel wire core technology (S5A, S7A, S8A) and its potential to support grid upgrades and new line construction. This year, we build on that foundation by showcasing how these solutions are being applied in real projects. Drawing on over 140 years of steel innovation, Bekaert is helping utilities translate proven technology into tangible grid improvements. Through recent project examples, we will demonstrate how high-tensile steel cores increase transmission capacity, optimize conductor design, and enhance network resilience while enabling more efficient use of existing infrastructure.
