We will present high-tensile steel wire cores for overhead power conductors, developed to support efficient grid upgrades through reconductoring and new line construction. Norm-compliant core designs such as S5A, S7A and S8A enable higher current-carrying capacity while maintaining sag within required limits.

For new lines, their combination of exceptional mechanical strength, low weight and minimal sag makes them well-suited for long spans, harsh weather conditions and lighter tower designs – resulting in a leaner infrastructure with a lower total cost of ownership.
