CSL Silicones
Advancing Grid Reliability with Si-COAT® 570™ Series Coatings
CSL Silicones Inc., part of the PETRONAS Specialty Chemicals Group, brings Canadian-manufactured RTV silicone innovation to the Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo 2026. Our materials are engineered to help utilities, asset owners, and EPC partners strengthen grid reliability amid rising environmental, operational, and regulatory pressures.
Our High Voltage Insulation Coatings (HVIC) — Si-COAT® 570™ and 570hs HVIC — deliver long-term hydrophobicity transfer, contamination resistance, and flashover reduction for insulators operating in polluted, coastal, desert, and high-moisture environments. These coatings support utilities seeking to minimize outages, extend maintenance intervals, and improve system resilience.
Our Corrosion Maintenance (CM) portfolio — Si-COAT® CM™ 579, 580, and 581 — provides durable protection for steel, aluminum, and galvanized structures exposed to UV, salt, industrial emissions, and thermal cycling. Their RTV silicone chemistry ensures exceptional weathering resistance, adhesion, and flexibility, making them ideal for towers, substations, and aging infrastructure requiring long-term protection, with minimal surface treatment.
As global grids evolve toward higher reliability, decarbonization, and smarter asset management, CSL Silicones delivers proven materials that safeguard critical infrastructure while reducing lifecycle costs. We look forward to engaging with industry leaders in Germany and demonstrating how our technologies support the future of T&D networks.
