The mission of SF6 Recycling AG is to substantially reduce emissions, caused by the production and use of new SF6 gas. Although massive progress has been made to substitute SF6 gas in our electric grids, it will still has to be used for a variety of applications and as long as existing installations are in operation. The EU directive VO (EU) 2024/573 requires users of SF6 gas to use alternative gases and to switch to regenerated SF6 gas.

SF6 Recycling AG provides all services around the use of SF6 gas and the disassembly of existing equipment:

• Regeneration of used SF6 gas in our own full scale regeneration plant that regenerates SF6 gas even with high contamination levels to a quality that by far exceeds the technical norm ICE 60376. After regeneration it has a purity of up to 99,995% SF6 and can be used in lieu of new gas.

• Full service provider for the collection of used SF6 gas, just-in-time delivery of regenerated gas

• Collection, recycling and regeneration of used SF6 bottle and tank management and recertification

• Recycling of equipment like medium voltage switchgear, high voltage switchgear, GIS and GIL. Recovery of gas and decommissioning of plants

• Exclusive german sales representative for italian manufacturer of the technically most advanced SF6 handling and regeneration equipment Synecom SRL.
