Paola Pachera holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, with a specialization in Chemical, Materials and Mechanical Engineering. She graduated in Bioengineering from the same university in 2012 and completed her doctoral studies in 2016. Following her PhD, she conducted postdoctoral research at the Centre for Mechanics of Biological Materials (CMBM) at the University of Padova. She then gained industry experience in the medical device sector, working as a Process Engineer at Sweden & Martina and later at LivaNova. In 2020, she joined Essex Solutions Italy Srl as Process Engineering Manager, transitioning to the energy sector. Since 2026, she has been serving as Head of R&D EU and Process Engineering Manager Italy, where she is responsible for research and development activities as well as process engineering initiatives within the European organization.
